College already? Where has the time gone?

One of the most craziest things about life is how time flies. Yes, I know that is probably the oldest cliche in the book, but it is also (at least through my eyes) the truest. I vividly remember being a little nervous to send out my first college application and now I am headed off to a city I have never been to to live my life and pursue my dreams.

As exciting as this sounds, there are two things wrong with this.

1) I am pretty sure that the dorm I am staying in is not big enough for two women to live comfortably. Seriously have you seen those lists of things to bring to college? They are like a size 12 font, front and back, single spaced list! It is crazy! And not only am I supposed to bring all of those things that I will need through out the year to live, my roommate will also have to bring an equally long list of things. And from what I have read on the internet about freshmen year of college, pretty much everyone says that the worst mistake is BRINGING TOO MUCH! Yes, you read that right. Bringing too much is a very terrible mistake that a lot of people, like myself, are at risk of making! Now how am I supposed to bring the list of things and at the same time not bring too much? You see my problem.

2) I am really going to miss my boyfriend. Yes, yes I know. You are probably thinking that "How time flies" is one below "I am really going to miss my boyfriend" on the cliche scale. But it is true. I love him and will miss him very much.

On the bright side, I will finally be able to begin my life and experience new things (i.e. learning how to speak french and how to do Pilates). I am extremely excited, anxious, but excited none the less to live in a new place.

Now, off to bed! :)
